Terms of Service

Migratez is a data migration service operated by Upper Cap Software Solutions LLP. These terms cover your use of it at app.migratez.com. By creating an account you agree to them.

What Migratez does

Migratez moves your records, custom fields, history, and attachments from a source application into a destination application, in one direction. A free assessment reads your source and reports what is in it before anything moves. A migration is reversible: every write to the destination is recorded so the whole thing can be undone, and a person on our team helps set it up and run it.

What a migration can carry is bounded by what the destination itself can hold, and where the destination cannot hold something we tell you before you pay rather than dropping it silently. We do not promise field-level parity or a specific outcome for your particular data unless we confirm it in writing, and we do not promise how long a migration or an assessment will take, because both depend on how much data there is and on the limits the two applications set.

Your account and your responsibilities

• You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.
• You confirm that you are allowed to move the data you connect, and that you have the right to authorize access to both applications.
• Use Migratez only for data you are entitled to move. Do not use it to break the terms of the applications you connect, to move unlawful content, or to disrupt the service for others.

What you keep

Your data stays yours. Connecting an application to Migratez does not give us any ownership of it, and we handle it only to run the migration you asked for. How we handle it is described in our Privacy Policy.

Pricing and payment

The assessment is free. A migration is a one-time price based on the number of records it moves, shown to you from the real counts in your source before you commit. Payment is due before a migration starts, and you are responsible for any taxes that apply.

30-day money-back guarantee

If you are not satisfied, ask us for a refund within 30 days of your migration being marked complete. We will reverse the migrated data out of the destination and refund you. The guarantee does not apply where a migration could not complete because of your own system's configuration, because another migration tool was run against the same data at the same time, or where we could not reach you to finish it.

The service is provided as it is

We work to move your data completely and to keep a migration reversible, and we describe honestly what each migration does. Beyond that, the service is provided as it is, without a warranty that it will be uninterrupted or meet every need. Because a migration is reversible, if the result is not what you expected you can undo it and we will work with you to put it right.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Migratez is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits a liability that cannot be limited by law.

Ending your use

You can stop using Migratez and close your account at any time. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. What happens to your data when your account closes is covered in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the law of India, and the courts of India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. If we change these terms we will update the date above, and for a material change we will let you know.
